Pathway of the Ova (egg)
The ova starts in the ovaries, (the female reproductive organ within the body). Then it goes to the fallopian tubes, which are tubes that connect the ovaries to the uterus. The uterus is where the fertilized egg develops into the fetus. Then it moves to the cervix, which is the connector between the uterus and vagina. The vagina is the female reproductive organ where sexual intercourse occurs.
